McKenzies was established in 1977 and has grown over the past 27 years to become a forward-thinking, modern firm with an enviable reputation for assisting a wide range of individual, commercial and professional interests, including many local charities and clubs.

At McKenzies we pride ourselves on growing with our clients, identifying their needs, and providing an all-encompassing service which meets the changing face of accountancy today, in the business environment.

We are able to do this by maintaining contact with the market, ensuring our staff are fully trained, and providing a friendly client care service which is second-to-none, so clients return to us, time and time again. In fact, most of our new clients come from the recommendations of existing clients!

Company Culture

We consider all our clients, irrespective of size, as being of the utmost importance to us. And, we are large enough to deal with complex issues, but compact enough to care about each and every client.

Senior staff are always available and a partner will oversee everything we do for all our clients. All staff are highly qualified and, whatever their status in the firm, receive on-going training to enhance their dealings with clients and their own job satisfaction. We aim for staff continuity and many of our staff have been with the firm for over ten years.

We are an Approved Training Office for both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Monitoring our Professional Standards

Our commitment to quality is symbolised by our membership of The CharterGroup Partnership, which is a national network of high-quality, independent accountancy firms.

Stringent quality requirements are a condition of membership of this body and regular monitoring of our procedures is carried out to ensure we maintain the necessary standards, as required by our Institute.

Investor In People Award

In 1996 we became the first firm of Chartered Accountants located in the Surrey TEC area to gain this prestigious award, which is a symbol of our commitment to our staff and clients.

Information Technology

We continue to invest substantial sums in this area and are constantly upgrading our systems to meet ever-increasing demands for information.

Communication

To ensure our clients are kept up to date with changes that may affect them, we issue regular Newsletters and Client Information Sheets on relevant topics.

Pro-activity

We are very aware that the services which our clients require are constantly changing. To this end, we set our goals on being a pro-active firm, employing up-to-date methods which create an improved and cost-effective environment for us and our clients.
